CHATLEY SHEPHERD HUTS

HAND CRAFTED

 EXCELLENCE

01 about

Welcome to Chatley Shepherd Huts. Run and managed by Myself (Ben Sonnet), a professional Carpenter for over 18 years in the Carpentry and Home Renovation industry. Chatley Shepherd Huts came about back in 2016, At the time, I was running a business making hand crafted furniture from my rural Somerset workshop, where I have been for almost 10 years and selling it through my internet based shop. This proved to be a sustainable means of making a living but it could get quite mundane at times and I found myself longing for a project that I could take on that incorporated all of my skills and knowledge and use my creative licence. this was when I acquired a vintage 1950s Railway Carriage and took to converting it into a luxury Shepherd Hut style glamping unit that's now completed and up for sale. My passion for shepherd Huts is now so huge that Ive just started my second project of a traditional style shepherd hut, built from the ground up!

Please feel free to contact me if you would like to discuss a commission for a Beautifull Chatley Shepherd Hut.
